I was very pleased with how the people at Earth handled everything. I also liked that they could arrange for my body to be taken to their facility no matter where I was in the world and what I liked the most is that my earthly remains will become a useful part of the world. I can become part of a tree.

Excellent company to work with. Their representatives were responsive to my concerns and questions. Loved being able to do a virtual tour of the facility. I have always wanted to “be a tree” and this process of being composted in a vessel with organic mulch, wildflowers and wood chips appeals to me. After going over this choice with family and friends, I found a lot of interest was generated in choosing this method of burial rather than the traditional cremation or burial in a cemetery.

Earth did a great job helping me, a 78 year old non-techie person, do everything to sign up on my phone in a different state and now my earthly remain will really become part of a tree.

It's an odd question, I guess, since the product can't be evaluated until I die and then not by me, but I felt Earth provided just the right amount of information and reminding for me to feel comfortable with the process. Sarah was always responsive, friendly and informative without being pushy. My virtual tour guide (Josh?) was also friendly and informative.

I had never heard of human composting transformation until my best friend made it her dying wish. From the first phone call to delivery of her remains, the people of Earth Funeral were wonderful. This is such a great, and more responsible, alternative to cremation. I plan to let my loved ones know this is my wish for myself too. This needs to be a more mainstream option. You seem to operate very efficiently and sensitively to grieving folks needs. It was a difficult decision to make. Once we all made it, you seemed to carry it out well.

If I had a supply of brochures, I'd be handing them out to most of my friends, because the concept is not familiar to most of them. They are planning cremation, in many cases, because they don't know a more environmentally conscious option is available. The high cost is also a decision factor, but if more people were choosing this alternative, economy of scale will bring the cost within reach of more people.

We visited all 3 Seattle composting sites this month and chose Earth for the simple and comprehensive service. The fact we are in your service area but were not in Recompose's; which currently wanted an additional $1200 and who knows how much more in 5-10-15 years?
